Missing Friends.
Frederick William Attwood is inquired for by the Gisborne police at the instance of his daughter. Description: A native of England, labourer, fifty-four years of age, 5 ft. 7 in. high, fair complexion, sandy beard, walks with a limp in left leg. He resided with Mr. Sweet, tailor, at Gisborne, and left there about three months ago, and it is feared some harm has befallen him, as his mind was becoming weak.
Edith McCorkquondale is inquired for by the Auckland police at the instance of her mother. Description : A native of New Zealand, domestic servant, seventeen years of age, 5 ft. 4 in. high, stout, full round face, blue eyes, dark hair, pleasing expression, and generally wears dark clothes.
Ryan. —lnquiries are requested as to the whereabouts of Edward P. Ryan. He joined the Singapore police about four years ago, and left there in August last, through ill-health, and is said to have come to New Zealand. Inquiry at the instance of his father, William Francis Ryan, 19, Kingston Square, Mitchelstown, County Cork. (02/2140.)
