Upper Hutt. —George Samuel Phillips, farmer, Kaitoke, reports supposed stolen from Mungaroa, between the 7th and 18th instant, a red-and-white steer, a red steer with white blaze down the face (a few white spots on body) a spotted light-red or yellow-and-white steer with a piece cut off the tail, all branded GP on near rump ; value, £6. Identifiable.

Waimate. —William Quinn, farmer, reports stolen, on the 26th or 27th ultimo, a chestnut draught mare, aged, 16 hands high, large lump on off knee, large white star on forehead ; value, £lO. Identifiable.

Mataura. —Robert T. Ooomer, farmer, reports stolen from his paddock, between the 2nd and sth instant, a chestnut filly, two years old, about hands high, silver mane, silver tail, docked, blaze on face, a small patch of white on inside of one hind leg, has been a pet foal, unbroken, but can be ridden, no shoes ; value, £ls.
