Escaped Lunatics.
Robert Burgess escaped from the Seaoliff Asylum on the 10th instant. Description : A native of the north of Ireland, forty-six years of age, 5 ft. 11 in. high, slight build, fair complexion, fair hair, reddish beard whiskers and moustache; dressed in brown-tweed suit, dark-tweed hat, blucher boots ; clothing branded with a cross. He was committed from Oamaru on the 25th February, 1901.
(See Police Gazette , 1901, page 71.) William Robinson, who escaped from Avondale Asylum, has been arrested by District Constable Rowe at Henderson, and committed to the Asylum.
