Auckland. —Richard Green, cabinetmaker, Newton, reports stolen, between the 10th and 12th instant, a bluevicuna suit, a small hole burnt in the corner left-side pocket of coat, a pair of light-coloured tweed trousers, a sofc blue shirt; total value, £4 18s.

Karangahake.— John Clarke, Te Aroha, reports stolen from the verandah of the Post Office Hotel, Karangahake, between the 12th and 15th instant, a brown-leather bag, about 3 ft. long and 2 ft. deep, full of clothes, consisting of a blue-serge suit, a pair of light-coloured tennis trousers, a pair of tennis shoes, a grey rug, umbrella, and other articles; total value, £l4.

Napier.— William Patterson, storekeeper, reports stolen from his shop, on the 10th instant, two pairs of men’s split shooter boots, and a pair of brown canvas shoes ; value, £1 2s. 6d.

Wellington. —Matthew Ambrose Brady, painter, reports stolen from a shed, on the 15th instant, a gentlemen’s Hollis bicyole, “ No. 4466 ” on bottom of frame, dropped bandies, rat-trap pedals, Brooks’s 810 saddle, 98 gear, has bell and lamp, Dunlop tires, a new machine ; value, £23.

Timaru. Frank Raymond, insurance agent, reports stolen, on the 15th instant, a gentlemen’s Tourist bicycle, nearly new, No. 173, wooden handle-bars, rubber pedals, 26 in. frame, block chain, Brookes’sNo. 28 saddle, Westwood rims and Dunlop tires ; value, £ls.

Lyttelton. —Walter Robert Harrington, steward, reports stolen from the s.s. “ Rangatiri ” at Lyttelton, on the 18th or 19th instant, a small white-canvas portmanteau, containing a pair of dark-tweed trousers with green stripes, four white-flannel shirts, and sundry curios ; total value, £1 ss. Suspicion attached to George Jackson, supposed colonial, a cook, eighteen years of age, 5 ft. 6 in. high, slim build, fair hair, blue eyes, warts on knuckles of right hand, dressed in blue-serge suit, brass buttons on coat, white-straw hat, has a badge resembling a trumpet in front of it. He joined the ship at Port Chalmers, and left her at Lyttelton on the 19th instant.
