LeYIN. —Harold Plimmer, grocer’s assistant, Shannon, rerAffirbs stolen at Levin on the 13th or 14th instant, a white mare, " fjytfy, abput 14 hands high, mane and tail cut, cut on right eye, /'small hole in side of face ; value, £5. Wairoa (Hawke’s Bay).—William Beckett, carter, Frasertown, reports stolen, between the sth and 9th instant, a darkbay mare, rising seven years old, about 17 hands high, star on forehead, scar at back of near hind-leg, branded T on rump, shod all round ; value, £2O. Lincoln. —Mary Pearson, widow, reports stolen from a paddock, about the 28th ultimo, seventy-one sheep, principally cross-breds, two- and four-toothed ewes, near lambing, a few being half-bred Shropshire ; and two Southdown rams. Branded 0 in red and PWP (conjoined) in black on shoulder. Yalue, 10s. each.
