John H. Weir, licensed from] jfche Caversham Indussrial School, absconded froim th& ; sdjrw\;e of Mr. Owen McKinnon, farmer, Ghasland’s, Sojiitjhfana/ dnphg January last. Description : Sixteen yeafls pi We, mfedfum height, long face, brown eyes, brown jmm finger injured near the top, awkward gait. If fofind in respectable employment the master of the school should be informed before any further steps are taken.
Alfred Hutchinson, may take the name of Alfred Johnson, licensed from the Burnham Industrial School, absconded from the service of his, mother, Mary Ann Johnson, Newtown, Wellington, on the 26th October/ DsQ(yiption : About sixteen years and sixmbnths of age,. high, very small for his age, slight build, thin f/ce, large ears, prominent blue eyes, fair complexion and hair ; when last seen was dressed in grey coat, vest, and cap, moleskin trousers. He was employed working for a farmer named Tait, of Taita, until the 11th November, 1897, and was supposed to be in the neighbourhood of the Upper Hutt, but no trace can be got of him there now.
