Deserters from Her Majesty’s Service.

From H.M.S. “ Katoomba,” at Lyttelton. On 3rd June, 1896. William F. Somerville, qualified signalman, twenty-one vears of age, born at Carlisle, England, sft. Bin. high, lightbrown hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, ring tattooed on second finger of left hand, dot under left thumb, and bracelet on each wrist. A reward nob exceeding £3 is offered for his arrest.

From H.M.S. “ Ringdove ,” at Wellington. On 12th June, 1896. Thomas William Chatfield, English, nineteen years of age, sfb. lin. high, light-brown curly hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, slight scars on forehead and above left knee. A reward of £3 is offered for his arrest.

From H.M.S. “ Ringarooma ,” at Auckland. On 21st May, 1896. Alfred Henry Lake, stoker, second class, born at Auckland, N.Z., twenty years of age, 6£t. high, light-brown hair, hazel eyes, sallow complexion. On 24th May, 1896. Robert Tait, stoker, second class, born at Auckland, N.Z., sfb. 9in. high, liglit-brown hair, blue eyes, sallow complexion. Daniel Sullivan, deserter from “ Ringarooma ” at Wellington, has been arrested by Constable A. F. Gordon, Napier police, and remanded.
