Missing Friends.

William Henry Jennings is inquired for by the InspectorGeneral of New South Wales Police. Description : English, a builder, forty-seven years of age, sft. 7in. high, fair complexion, brown hair, clean-shaved, married. He is said to have been seen in Auckland about two months ago, and is known to Mr. Priestley, a builder of that city, but as no trace of him can be obtained there it is requested that inquiries may be made throughout the colony. Dr. J. B. Hudson is inquired for by the district constable, Port Albert, Auckland, at the instance of Mr. Hargreaves, rutiholder, Kaipara. Description : A native of Sydney, about forty-six years of age, about sft. lOin. high, dark complexion, moustache only. He left Mr. Hargreaves’ on the 19th November last, and may have gone to one of the gumfields.

Maria Coborn is inquired for by the Palmerston North police at the instance of her husband. Description: A native of Ireland, thirty-five years of age, sft. high, sallow delicate appearance, addicted to drink, and of doubtful character. She has a son eight years of age with her.

Thomas McNeale Gill is inquired for by Mr. W. A. Leach, Native-school teacher, Tuparoa, East Coast. Description : A native of Ireland, fifty-eight years of age, about sft. 9m. high, sallow complexion, dark hair, grey eyes. He at one time a lieutenant in the 13th Light Infantry, but resigned his commission and enlisted in another line regiment, and is supposed to have come to New Zealand.

Hodges. —lnformation is requested concerning Walter Hodges, a sailor, thirty-two years of age, rather tall, fair, blue eyes, scar on forehead, belonging to Camberwell, London. He left there for Melbourne by the ship “ Marmarus ” on the 18th June, 1891, and it is believed came on to this colony. Is well known in Blenheim, but no trace of him can now be obtained in that district. (96/42.)
