Arson.
Lyttelton. —At 12.80 a.m. on the Ist instant an unoccupied cottage, the property of the Lyttelton Borough Council, was set on fire from the outside, but the flames were discovered and extinguished before much damage was done. The building was uninsured, and valued at £6O.
