Abandoned Child found.
Christchurch. —At 8 a.m. on the 16th ultimo a male half-caste Chinese child, about two years old, was found by Mr. Margetts, builder, on a vacant section off the South Belt, and has been taken charge of by the Charitable Aid Board. It was dressed in a red flannelette frock with black spots, white pinafore with lace collar, black socks, elasticside shoes, white imitation-fur jacket with velvet collar, and white embroidered hat.
