Constable C. Stanyer, Auckland police, lias been awarded £1 for arresting an absentee from H.M.S. “ Rapid.” (94/602.) Constable J. Stanley, Pleasant Point police, has been awarded £5 by the Geraldine County Acclimatisation Society for obtaining convictions for illegal trout-fishing. (94/620.) Constable J. Gillespie, Foxton police, has been awarded £1 for obtaining convictions against T. Galloway and J. Kuhtze for illegally selling bottled porter. (94/629.)
