Whakatank.— Robert Tuthill’s hat, trousers, comforter, and savings-bank book have been found in the bush, where they had been left by the offenders.

Auckland. — Be breaking into Mary Jane lieywood’s dwelling, Remuera Road; The ladies’ silver hunting-watch is now described as a Geneva, No. 82334.
Auckland. —Arthur Maxwell, chemist, Manukau Road, Newmarket, reports stolen from his shop, on the 28th April last, two octagonal cut-glass toilet-bottles, glass-stoppered, about 9in long, containing lavender-water; value 17s. Identification doubtful.

Eketahuna.— Stealing Wilfred Woolf’s coat: Alexander Stewart has been arrested for this offence by Constable M. Roche, and sentenced to three months’ labour. Goat recovered. Offender is identical with Alexander Angus. (See Police Gazette , 1889, page 113, and 1890, page 119.)
Hawera. —William J. Hewstou, railway-clerk, Wortley’s Boarding-house, reports stolen between the 14tli and 16th ultimo, a yellow-leather purse, clasp broken and fastened with an elastic band, containing three £1 notes and about 14s. 3d. in silver. Purse identifiable. Suspicion attached to William Harland, nineteen years of age, sft. sin. high, medium build, fair complexion, fair hair, none on face, an extra tooth growing out of the gum on each side of the mouth. Went to Wanganui Races.
Auckland. —Joseph Woodall, draper, Queen Street, reports stolen from outside his shop, on the 7th ultimo, three men’s new red-drab shirts; value 10s. 6d.
Auckland. —James Gilmour, Manukau Road, Parnell, reports stolen from his shop-door, on the 12th ultimo, a new mackintosh coat, small brown-check pattern, large brownplaid lining with small red bars running through, stamped on the inside underneath collar “ New Zealand and South Seas Zealandia Exhibition,” with a hand holding a cross in centre ; value £3 3s. Identifiable.
Auckland.- —Mary Beedell, New North Road, reports stolen from her shop-door, between the 10th and 12th ultimo, four lengths of Eoulle serge, viz., about 30 yards black, and 15 each brown, dark peacock, and cardinal; value £5. Identifiable.

Auckland. —Breaking into and stealing from William Morpeth’s dwelling, Ponsonby: Ernest Lawson has been arrested for this offence by Constable G. Foreman, and committed for trial. Ring, hat, salmon-coloured kerchief, and yellow ditto recovered.

Auckland. —Breaking into and stealing from Thomas J. Bainbridge’s dwelling, Ponsonby: The suspect, Ernest Lawson, has been committed for trial on this charge. Scarf-pin recovered.
Auckland. — Louis Levy, Hobson Street, reports stolen from his shop, between the 16th and 20th ultimo, an operaglass, rather large, bound in dark-russian leather, much worn; value £3. Identifiable.
Auckland. —John Endean, Waitemata Hotel, Queen Street, reports stolen from a bedroom, on the 12tli ultimo, two white blankets, three-quarter size, red borders, well worn; value 10s. Identification doubtful.

Auckland. —Henry Smith, Marmion Street, reports stolen from his verandah, on the 14th or 15tli ultimo, an ovalshaped door-mat, rather large ; value 10s. Identifiable.
Auckland. —George Rendell, draper, junction of Grey and Pitt Streets, reports stolen from his shop-door, on the 19th ultimo, five men’s Crimean shirts, grey pattern, with red stripe, two of them darker than the others, necks 15Jin.; value £1 10s. Identifiable.
Wellington. —Robert Blair, Adelaide Road, reports stolen from his sliop-door, on the 25th ultimo, seven boys’ cotton shirts, blue and white stripes, marked R.E. x L.W. on neckbands ; and two men’s ditto, black and white stripes, size 16Jin.; value 18s. 6d. Identifiable.
Wellington. Paul Hoffman, Timaru Restaurant, Willis Street, reports stolen from his room, on the 19tli ultimo, a single-breasted grey-tweed overcoat, horn buttons, three outside pockets ; value £4. Identifiable.
Palmerston North. Annie York reports stolen from her dwejfling, pvy tfukLath jharfio, a ladies’silver Geneva keyless No'. '35494, wreath chased on back, spots/* gold and/blu/flowers on dial; value £2 2s.
Hunterville. —Michael Connolly reports stolen from a bedroom in Dudding’s boarding-house, on the 24th ultimo, two £1 notes.
Thames. —Henry J. Nation, Pacific Hotel, reports stolen from a bedroom, on the 9th ultimo, two white single blankets, Engl is!i make, bordered with blue red and brow n stripes ; value £l. Identification doubtful.
Geraldine.— William Ross reports stolen from a bedroom in the Bush Hotel, during the night of the 12th ultimo, seven £1 notes, four sovereigns, and some change. Suspicion attached to Albert Greenwood and William Solomon, two expert bedroom-thieves. (For description see Police Gazette, 1890, page 212, and 1891, page 100.) They left for Orari.
Christchurch. —Mrs. Green, Manchester Street, reports stolen from her shop, on the 7th ultimo, three woollen shawls (two red, one grey); value 9s.
Christchurch. —William Crawford, pantryman, Warner’s Hotel, reports stolen from his bedroom, on the 29th April last, a small Waterbury watch ; value £1 2s.
Port Chalmers. —William Reid, fireman, s.s. “ Pukaki,” reports stolen from him while drunk, on the 13th ultimo, two £5 and three or four £1 notes.
Ashburton. —Mitchell and Turner, drapers, report that, between 6 p.m. on the 17th and 8 a.m. on the 18th ultimo, their shop was broken into and two white-silk neckties with pink stripes, value 3s. 6d. (identifiable) and 3s. 4d., stolen. Boys suspected.
Christchurch. —Edward Joseph Walsh, draper, Colombo Street, reports stolen from outside his shop, on the 18th ultimo, a pair of brown mottled-tweed trousers, size 10 or 11; value 12s. Identification doubtful.
