Missing Friends.

Samuel Rosewarne, who left England about sixteen years ago, is inquired for by the Manager of the Devon and Cornwall Bank (Limited), Penzance, through the Bank of New Zealand, Christchurch. Last heard of at the latter city fourteen years ago, but cannot now be found. He is described as forty-eight years of age, short stature, and dark complexion. (92/785.)

George Aroa, also known as Smith, is inquired for by the Havelock (Marlborough) Police, with the view of compelling him to contribute towards the support of his mother at Okaramio. He is a labourer, teamster, or station-hand, nineteen years of age, sft. 2in. high, stout build, fresh complexion, light hair, dark eyes, single. Last heard of at Palmerston North about twelve months ago. His elder brother Tom c Featherston.

James Alfred Wilson, who came to this colony from London about eleven years ago, is inquired for by his sister, Mrs. Isabella Russell Mangan, 22, North First Street, Kansas City, Kansas, U.S. He is twenty-nine 3 r ears of age, about Oft. high, fair hair, dark eyes. A card was received from him some years ago, and appeared to have been bought at Mrs. Armstrong’s, Upper Stafford Street, Dunedin, but letters addressed there have been returned. No entry of his death can be found in the Registrar-General’s Office. (R.G. 92/189.)
