At 12.45 a.m. on the 20th ultimo a two-roomed cottage at Ahaura, Westland District, belonging to Edward McGuinness, was destroyed by fire, which was evidently the work of an incendiary. Insured in the South British Office for £4O. Estimated value £6O.
