(From Gazette, 1890, pages 1175, 11S2, and 1195.) Licensing Districts altered. (1.5.) ONSLOW, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS by the sixth section of “The Licensing Act 1881,” it is enacted that the Governor shall, as soon as conveniently may be after the commencement of the said Act, by Proclamation in the Gazette, from time to time define districts to be licensing districts under the said Act, and from time to time may alter and redefine the boundaries of the same: And whereas it is expedient to alter and redefine the boundaries of the Districts of Roslyn and Kaikorai: Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, alter and redefine the boundaries of the said districts, which shall henceforth be those described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE. Roslyn.
All that area known as the Borough of Roslyn, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 9, of the 20th February, 1890.
Kaikorai
All that area in the Taieri County bounded towards the north by Block X., Silverpeak Survey District, and Block 111., North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; towards the east generally by the Boroughs of Maori Hill, Roslyn, Mornington, and Caversham ; towards the south by the sea ; and towards the west generally by the Ridings of Otokia and North Taieri of the said Taieri County. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop; Viscount Cranley, of Cranley in the County of Surrey; Baron Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop, and of West Clandon in the County of Surrey ; Baron Cranley, of Imbercourt; Baronet; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Govrenor and Com-mander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony • of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and ViceAdmiral of the same ; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, ac Wellington, this twenty-third day of October, in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety.

Providing that Regulations for Trout- and Perch-fishing to apply to Parts of Counties of Oroua and Manawatu. ONSLOW, Governor. ORDER IN COUNCIL. At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of October, 1890. Present: The Honourable the Premier presiding in Council. "\XTHEREAS regulations for fishing for trout and perch VV in a district comprising portion •of the Wellington Acclimatisation District and the waters thereof were made by Order in Council dated the tenth day of September last, and published in the Nero Zealand Gazette No. 48, of the eleventh day of September last: And whereas it is desirable that such regulations should apply to the portions of the Counties of Oroua and Manawatu not included in the district defined by the said Order in Council : Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by “ The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the district defined by the said recited Order in Council of the tenth day of September last shall extend to and include such portions of the Counties of Oroua and Manawatu as were not included in the district so defined as aforesaid, and that so far as practicable the regulations prescribed by the said recited Order in Council shall apply to such lastmentioned portions of the said counties in the same manner in all respects as if such counties had been wholly included in the district originally defined by the said recited Order in Council. Clerk of Courts appointed. Department of Justice, Wellington, 29th October, 1890. HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Constable William Fouhy to be Clerk of the Resident Magistrate’s Court and Assistant Clerk of the Warden’s Court at Roxburgh, and Clerk of the Licensing Committees for the Districts of Roxburgh, Teviot, and James, from the Bth instant, vice Constable W. Pool, transferred. W. R. RUSSELL.
