Stolen during the night of the 24th ultimo, from a paddock at Cambride West, a light-draught bay colt, two years old, 15 hands high, unbranded, star on forehead, a lump about the size of a hen’s-egg on off-hind quarter, unshod, had on a leather headstall, with a piece of rope attached, the property of John Finnerty, value £lO ; also a brownishblack pony, aged, 14 hands high, a small shoe-brand on near shoulder, and 661 on near side of neck, shod all round; the property of William Hjorth ; value £5. Supposed stolen on the 23rd or 24th ultimo, from a paddock at Hawera, a light-draught grey gelding, nearly white, aged, about 14f hands high, ring-bone near one of fore-hoofs, blotch brand on off shoulder; the property of Clinton Attwood. Identifiable.

Supposed stolen about the 28th November last, from Te Puke, Thames District, a bright bay saddle-mare, three years old, 14 hands high, blaze down face, one of fore and one of hind fetlocks white, and one of houghs slightly enlarged, unbranded; the property of John Martin; value £lO. Suspicion attached to Poverty Bay Natives, in whose possession a mare answering the description of Mr. Martin’s mare was seen, about the 15th December last, between Opotiki and Ormond, going towards Ormond.

Stolen between the 16th and 26th ultimo, at Arowhenua Station, near Temuka, a pure-bred Herefordshire heifer, two years old, red back and sides, white face and flanks, widespreading horns, unbranded; a number had been branded in one of the horns, but it is not now visible ; the property of A. M. Clark; value £25. Identifiable.
