Missing Friends.
Information is requested respecting James Magee, who left his home, near Longbeach, Canterbury, on the 27th or 28th March last, and has not since been heard of by his parents. Description: A native of the colony, a farmlabourer, sixteen years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, slight build, erect appearance, round red face, brown hair; wore dark jacket, dark-grey trousers, and black hard hat. He had no swag or money when he left, and has no relatives in the colony except his parents.
Information is requested respecting John Deam, a native of England, a labourer, formerly a sailor, twenty-five years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, stout build, dark hair, reddishbrown beard whiskers and moustache. He was married at Hampden, Hawke’s Bay District, in February last, and left his wife in a fortnight after, saying that he was going to the Thames, and has not since been heard of. He is inquired for at the instance of his wife.
