(From Gazette, 1884, page 1717.) Fixing Sittings of the District Courts of Nelson and Westland.
Wm. F. DRUMMOND JERVOIS, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in this behalf enabling me, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint that sittings of the District Courts of Nelson and Westland, for civil and criminal business, shall be held as follows, from and after the first day of January next, in lieu of those previously fixed and appointed:—
Nelson District,
In the Courthouse, Nelson, on the Bth January, 12tli February, 30th March, 20th April, 28th May, 25th June, 30th July, 24th August, 28th September, 15th October, 23rd November, 10th December.
Westland District
In the Supreme Courthouse, Hokitika, on the 22nd January, 9th March, 7tli May, 9th July, 3rd September, 2nd November.
In the Courthouse, Greymouth, on the 26th January, 12th March, 11th May, 13tli July, 7th September, sth November. In the Courthouse, Reefton, on the 30th January, 19th March, 15tli May, 17th July, 10th September, 10th November. In the Courthouse, Westport, on the 4th February, 23rd March, 20th May, 22nd July, 16th, September, 16th November. Provided that in case any of the days so fixed as aforesaid shall happen to be a holiday, then the Court appointed for that day shall be holden on the first day thereafter not being a holiday. As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four. P. A. BUCKLEY.
