Toe Toe is charged, on warrant issued by the Te Awamutu Bench, with stealing, on the 30th April last, from off a horse at Te Awamutu, a head-stall bridle with steel-chain snaffle-bit; the property of Alexander Norton; value £1 15s. Identifiable. Description : A Maori, about twenty-six years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches high, very stout build, light-coloured hair worn short, small whiskers; speaks good English. The headstall and reins have been recovered.
Stolen on the 24th ultimo, from off the washstand in the chief steward’s cabin of the steamer “ Hinemoa,” bet ween Wellington and Manukau, a gold ring, with three diamonds in a row in gipsy setting, the outside stones are pear-shaped, the middle one round, ILK. stamped on inside of ring; the property of William Swanson ; value £SO. Identifiable.
Stolen between the 17th and 19th ultimo, from a box on board the brigantine “ Camille,” between Lyttelton and Auck land, an open-face silver Geneva watch, No. 17270 or 1770maker’s name not known ; and a hair-guard, mounted with, imitation gold ; the property of Charles Baker; value £3. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 22nd ultimo, from the yard of Jane Hunter, Broadway Market, Christchurch, a ladies’ black rib dress with flounces; value £1 10s. Identifiable.
A cardboard box, posted at Goldsborough, Westland, in June last, by Mrs. Ellen Peizzi, addressed Mrs. Welsh, Tinakori Road, Welli igton, has not reached its destination, and it is believed has been stolen. Box about 3 inches square, wrapped in a sheet of notepaper and tied with string, containing an oval colonial gold brooch, 2k by 2 inches, leaf pattern, large leaf with small emerald over place for likeness, about 7 dvvt., and a pair of earrings to match, with emeralds in centre, about 1J dwt.; value £4. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 20th ultimo, from off a horse at South Rakaia, a nearly-new colonial made saddle, pigskin seat and knee-pads, bullock-hide flaps, round stirrup-irons, and leather girth ; a nearly new .-ingle-rein snaffle!-bridle, both ends of rein spliced at snaffle, centre buckle broken off and rein knotted ; a new brown saddle-cloth; and a small stock-whip with hickory handle; the property of George Sliellock ; value £7 10s. Identifiable.
Stolen during the night of the 2fith ultimo, from the clothesline of John Blarney, Mujoribank Street, Wellington, 6 yards of new brownholland, a grey Crimean shirt, neckband of different material, considerably Worn, and a pair of grey socks; value 11s. Shirt identifiable.
Stolen about May last, from goods cases on board the ship “ Hermione,” at London, or on the voyage to Auckland, fourteen pairs of tweed trousers, various patterns; ten pairs of tweed trousers, superior quality ; and twelve pairs of bedford-cord trousers; the property of William McArthur and Co.; value £ll ss.

T he two saws, the property of William McFarlane, reported stolen from a new building, at Cambridge, have been recovered.
Stolen on the 15th ultimo, from the fowlhouse of George Mayhew, at Mornington, near Dunedin, three black Spanish hens, one wing of each cut, and a very small yellow bantam rooster ; value £4. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 16th or 17th ultimo, from the fowlhouse of Margaret Major, Muir’s Right-of-way, Dowling Street, Dunedin, three large ducks, dirty-white colour. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 21st ultimo, from a buggy at the Star and Garter Hotel stables, Waikari, Canterbury, a very large darkgrey mackintosh coat, long slit at back, with five buttons and buttonholes; the property of William B. Pyne ; value £5. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 23rd or 24th ultimo, from Forbury, near Dunedin, a small keg with wooden hoops, one hoop off top, nearly full of 2-inch wire-fencing nails; the property of Messrs. Kirk and Saunders ; value 17s. Identification doubtful.
Stolen on the 12th instant, from tbe yard of the Racecourse Hotel, Forbury, near Dunedin, a jockeys’ riding-whip, feet long, silver ferrule, brass nail in butt, no thong; tbe property of Pelham Jones ; value £1 ss. Identifiable.
Stolen during the night of the 24th ultimo, from the forecastle of the ketch “Annie,” at Wanganui, a brown-leather purse containing a £'» note, seven £1 notes, and 2s. 3d. in silver; the property of George Pollua. Purse identifiable.
Supposed stolen on tbe 15th ultimo, from a buggy at Hamilton, an American buggy-whip, handle covered with leather, two brass ferrules near butt; the property of Captain William Steel; value 15s. Identifiable.

Stealing John Fabian’s saddle in Mikoki Swamp.— Thomas and William Bond, suspected of this offence, are at present residing at or near Palmerston North. Albert Strawbridge, a friend of theirs, who recently left the Featherston District for
Palmerston North, it is believed has taken the stolen saddle to them.
