Deserters from Her Majesty’s Service.
Archibald Stewart is charged with having deserted from H.M. ship “Wolverine,” at Sydney, on the Ist instant. Description : A native of Huddersfield, England, a gunner, R.M.A., thirty years of age but looks older, 5 feet 8 inches high, dark-brown hair, light-coloured thick short beard and whiskers, hazel eyes, dark complexion ; of intemperate habits; Scotch accent, and might pass as a Scotchman. He has been employed as a puddler in iron-works. It is supposed he has come to this colony. A reward of £3 is offered for his arrest.
