Tararu Jack won recently in Sydney when most support was accorded a stable companion, Pierrepont, who failed, as he has so often done, over the last little bit of the journey. On Saturday Tararu Jack, who is racing in a new ownership, won at Tattersail’s meeting, running the two miles over hurdles in 3min. 43sec., which is close to the Australasian record for the distance.
