REMINDER TO OWNERS.
Owners and trainers should not overlook the fact that entries for the Maiden Steeplechase (2% miles), Jervois Handicap (seven furlongs), Hunt Club Hurdles (two miles), Members’ Handicap (six furlongs), to be run on the opening day, and the Hunt Club Cup Steeplechase (about three miles), Orakei Hurdle Race (1% miles), Visitors’ Handicap (five furlongs), Remuera Hurdle Race (two miles), and Fitzroy Welter Handicap (six furlongs), to be decided on the
concluding day of the Auckland Racing Club’s winter meeting, close with the secretary, Mr. W. S. Spence, on Friday evening next (May 10) at 9 p.m. The same evening acceptances are due for the Great Northern Hurdles, Great Northern Steeplechase and Cornwall Handicap.
