EVENTS REQUIRING ATTENTION.

Handicaps for the first day’s events to be decided at the Wellington Racing Club’s summer meeting, on January 20, 22 and 24, are due to make their appearance on Monday, January 8 while acceptances close with the secretary, Mr. A. E. Whyte, on Friday, January 12 at 12.30 p.m. Nominations for all events, with the exception of the Maiden Plate and Waioeka Stakes, to be decided at the Opotiki Jockey Club’s annual meeting on February 9, close with the secretary, Mr. C. C. Courtenay, Box 75, Opotiki, or with Mr. H. Hayr, Auckland, on Friday, January 12, at 9 p.m. Nominations for all events (including Maiden Hack first day and Trial Stakes second day) to be decided at the Foxton Racing Club’s annual meeting on January 22 and 23, close with the secretary, Mr. Endell Wanklyn, Foxton, on Friday, January 5, at 9 p.m.

Nominations for all events to be run at the Takapuna Jockey Club’s summer meeting on January 27 and 29, close with the secretary, Mr. R. Wynyard, Vulcan Lane, Auckland, on Friday, January 5, at 9 p.m.

Nominations for all events to be decided at the Gisborne Racing Club’s summer meeting, which takes place on February 1 and 3, close with the secretary, Mr. H. E. Dodd, on Friday, January 12, 1917, at 9 p.m. Nominations for all events to be decided at the Egmont Racing Club’s summer meeting, on January 31 and February 1, close with the secretary, Mr. V. B. Stratton, on Monday, January 8, 1917, at 9 p.m.

Nominations for all events to be decided at the Taranaki Jockey Club’s autumn meeting, to be decided on Febuary 7 and 8, close with the secretary, Mr. E. P. Webster, Box 33, New Plymouth, on Friday January 12 at 9 p.m. Nominations for all events to be deicded at the Poverty Bay Turf Club s summer meeting, to be held on Febuary 8 and 10, close with the secretary, Mr. D. R, De Costa, on Friday, January 19, at 9 p.m. Acceptances for the first day of the Whangarei Racing Club’s summer meeting, to be held on January 11 and 12, close with the secretary, Mr. J. R. S. Richardson, P.O. Box 33, Whangarei, or with Mr. H. H. Hayr, Victoria Street, Auckland, on Saturday, January 6, at 9 p.m.
