V.R.C. GRAND NATIONAL STEEPLECHASE. The Victoria Racing Club brought their winter meeting to a conclusion at Flemington on Saturday. The fol; lowing was the result of the principal cvent: — THE GRAND NATIONAL STEEPLECHASE of 20sovs each, with 1500sovs added. About three miles and a furlong. E. S 3 Also started: Booligal 12.4, El Prqgresso 11.12. Bibbenluke 11.6, Flasn Jack 11.5, Artillery Bill 10.13, Chess 10.13, Wadden 10.9. Wyandarra 10.0. Canadium 9.13. Highland Clan 9.12, llusra 9.10. Busra, Westaway and Rendrock made the running in the early stages. Rendrock, Westaway and Bullawarra was fit-) order at the last fence, with Coradjil cm?e up. Inside the distance Coradiil w.::t to the front and eventually won bv t length. Time. 6min 24% sec.
