GOLDEN MARCH.
Golden March, whose three previous attempts over hurdles were to gain third place honours, went one better at Napier Park by getting second in the Hack Hurdles on the first day there, the distance of which extended to a mile and three-quarters. He, however, met one a bit better at the weights in Czaronus, who is also likely to stay, of which he has
previously given indications. On the second day Golden March’s turn came, and he beat Crawford (a beginner) and a fair field.
