AVONDALE JOCKEY CLUB.
The spring meeting of the Avondale Jockey Club is likely to be quite up to the standard of the best of its predecessors. Stables from all parts of the province are to be represented, and probably some from outside, Taranaki and Hawke’s Bay being expected to send horses. The nominations for the whole of the handicaps and final payments for the Avondale Stakes and Avondale Guineas are due on Friday, August 27th. For the Avondale Stakes, 1916, and Avondale Guineas. 1917, nominations will be taken on September 3rd.
