DEVIL’S POOL TOURNAMENT.
The above tournament is now in full swing at the Central Billiard Saloon, High-street, and as all the best of the local talent are engaged some first-class pool is played especially where the “ hot stuff ” are drawn together. Only one or two games had been decided at the time of going to press, but details of the first round will be published next issue. There are altogether 52 players taking part and the proprietor “ Sid ” Hicks is desirous of deciding the tournament as quickly as possible so that he can make a start with the snooked tournament which is to follow.
