JUNIOR GRADE RESULTS.

The junior grade matches commenced on Saturday, and the addition of three new teams, viz., King’s College Old Boys, Sacred Heart College Old Boys, and University 11. in the second grade competition, was responsible for more than the usual amount of interest being displayed in these games. Newton 11. defeated Sacred Heart by 3 points to nil. City 11. scored a win over King’s College by 6 points to 5.

Grafton beat University 11. by 14 points to nil. Parnell 111. defeated Sacred Heart 11. by 26 points to nil.

Newton won from Three King’s College by default. Ponsonby 11. had an easy win over North Shore 111. by 21 points to 3. At the Thames a drawn game was played between City and Suburbs, each side scoring three points.
