A special train will leave Auckland at 6.45 a.m., which is timed to arrive at Kirikiriroa at 11.12 a.m., which will be ample time for the first race. This will return at 6.10 p.m., and reach Auckland at 10.42 p.m. Mr R. J. Gwynne, the secretary, intends having all arrangements on the most up-to-date lines, so that patrons will have nothing O cavil at in this respect. Present indications point to the gathering being as successful as any held at Claudelands.
