“A RUNAWAY GIRL."

Mr J. O. Williamson’s Musical Comedy Company will inaugurate their Auckland season with the opening of the new theatre, His Majesty’s, on Friday evening, December 26th (Boxing Night). The present company is said to be the strongest that has ever visited New. Zealand under Mr Williamson’s management, numbering between eighty and ninety people. In the opening production, “ A Runaway Girl,” Mr Williamson confidently anticipates that he has secured the mbst attractive musical musical play y®t witnessed in New Zealand. Its success in Englap^, ! Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide, also in Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, has been phenomenal. The cast includes thirty people. They are supported by a large operatic chorus, orchestra, and ballet. The play, being of a spectacular nature, will be brilliantly mounted. ““ A Runaway Girl ” is essentially a bright and sparkling piece, with rippling music by Ivan Caryll and Lionel Monckton, and Aucklanders may look forward to a treat on Boxing Night, when “ A Runaway Girl” will be introduced to them.
