Notes for Owners and Trainers

The weights for the following races to be decided at the Autumn Meeting of the Wanganui Jockey Club are due on Tuesday next: —Wanganui Cup, Stewards’ Stakes, First Hurdle Race, First Hack Hurdles, First Hack Flat, and Flying Handicap. Nominations for the events to be run at the Annual Meeting of the South Auckland Racing Club are due to morrow, Friday, 17th inst., with the secretary, Mr A. J. Storey, Hamilton, or with Mr H. B. Massey, Blomfield’s office, Durham, Street. The Ohinemuri Jockey Club hold its annual race meeting on the 17th and 18th of next month. Nominations for all races close with the secretary, Mr F. Vercoe, at Paeroa, or at Mr W. Blomfield’s office, Durham Street, Auckland, on Wednesday next, February 22. Handicaps for the second day’s races of the Otahuhu Trotting Club will appear on Monday next. On Monday next nominations are due for the C.J.C. Summer Meeting. On Saturday next, February 18, acceptances for the events to be decided at the Manawatu Racing Club’s Autumn Meeting should be made known to the secretary of the Club.
