Acceptances for the Auckland Cup are due on December 2, also for the Railway Handicap and Auckland Steeplechase. On the same date forfeits are due for the Royal Stakes, the Great Northern Derby, the Great Northern Foal Stakes, and the Champagne Stakes of 1899. Coromandel acceptances close on Saturday night with the secretary, at Coromandel, or Mr H. H. Hayr, Vulcan Lane, Auckland. Owners should remember that the Woodville District Jockey Club’s programme should be attended to on Saturday, November 26. Nominations are due on Saturday for the following events in the programme prepared for the Taranaki Jockey Club’s Hack Meeting —First Handicap Hurdles, Second Handicap Hurdles, Christmas Handicap, Ladies’ Purse, First Welter Handicap, Second Welter Handicap, Flying Handicap, Maiden Handicap, Electric Handicap, Summer Handicap, Moturoa Handicap, 1 sov each. Gisborne nominations are due on Saturday, November 26.
Second payment for the Auckland Exhibition Cup (trotting) is due on November 25.
