EGMONT RACING CLUB.
The committee cf the Egmont Racing Club met on Saturday night last, when the following: officials were elected for the ensuing year.- — Chairman of committee, Mr Jas. Davidson j judge, Mr Wm. Brewer; handicapper, Mr J. E. Henry ; starter, Mr M. F. Baird ; clerk of the scales, Mr H. W. Sutton ; clerk of the course, Mr G. H. Gibson; course committee, Messrs. Pease, Iredale, and Riddiford ; programme committee, Messrs. Nolan, Mcßae, Hicks, and Gibson ; totalisator stewards, Messrs. A. S. Tonks and H. W. Budge. The consideration of the appointment of totalisator proprietors for the ensuing season was deferred to a subsequent meeting. The course committee was instructed to prepare an estimate of the cost of an additional training track, also a new steeplechase course. The annual training fees were fixed at £2 2s.
