Maiden Trot Handicap (saddle) of 15 sovs; second horse to receive 3 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 10s, acceptance ss. For horses that have never won an advertised trot, either in saddle or harness, at time of starting. Two miles. To start at 12 noon Manawatu Trot Handicap (saddle) of 50 sovs; second horse to receive 7 sovs, and the third horse 3 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 20s, acceptance 30s. Three miles. To start at 12.45 p.m. Handicap Pony Trot (harness) of 20 sovs; second pony to receive 5 sovs from the stakes. Height 14.2 and under. Nomination 10s, acceptance 10s. Two miles. To start at 1.30 p.m. Maiden Trot Handicap (harness) of 15 sovs; second horse to receive 3 sovs from the stakes. For horses that have never won an advertised trot, either in saddle or harness, at the time of starting. Nomination 10s, acceptance ss. Two miles. To start at 2.15p.m. Summer Trot Handicap (harness) of 50 sovs; second horse to receive 7 sovs, and the third horse 3 sovs from the’stakes. Nomination 20s, acceptance 30s. Three miles. To start at 3 p.m. Handicap Pony Trot (saddle) of 20 sovs ; second pony to receive 5 sovs from the stakes. Height 14.2 and under. Nomination 10s, acceptance 10s. Two miles. To start at 4.30 p.m. DATES OF NOMINATIONS, HANDICAPS, AND ACCEPTANCES. Nominations close with the Secretary on SATURDAY, December 7th, at 9 p.m. Handicaps will be declared on SATURDAY, December Acceptances close on SATURDAY, December 21st, at 9 p.m. ' V. All Nominations and Acceptances must be accompanied by the necessary fees. On no account .will horses be handicapped whose nomination fees are unpaid. RULES AND REGULATIONS. All ponies must be measured before starting.. Nominators must state the bona fide owner o. horses. Previous performances of the horses to be given at time of nomination, also colours of the riders. All horses must be ridden and driven out. If distanced by first horse, second and third money will be paid to the must be accompanied by a fee of 2 sovs, to be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. All disputes and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of stewards present, whose decision shall be final, and shall not be questioned m any court of law. Entries only received on this condition. To be run under the Rules of the North Island Plotting Association of New Zealand. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross amount of all Stakes.
