ANNUAL MEETINGS.
MANAWATU RACING CLUB.
A.t the annual meeting of the Manawatu Racing Club held on the 28 th ult. the report submitted showed that the receipts from all sources during the year haimbeen £2747 ; £945 was paid in stakes and £996 was expended in the erection of a new grand stand and appointments.
Mr. GF. M. Snelson was elected president, Mr. J. E. Henry handicapper, and Mr. R. Stevens starter. The incoming committee were recommended to arrange for a two-days meeting at Christmas-tide.
