Monday, i6th Inst. ALL the horses worked on the trial track. Begorra and Ma Boughal were sent a mile at top, being joined by Dishonour the last 6 furlongs. Hailstone went three times round steady, moving sore. Hopeful Kate put in a useful three times round steady. Tuna was sent once round at top. Flint did twice round at half pace. Fishmonger was sent three circuits steady. Patchwork went twice round steady. Forget-me-not only put in once round at half pace. Vendetta went twice round at good swinging canter. Lochness and Scot Free went twice round slow. Minnie Grey went three times rounds slow. Gazelle did a round at top. Impulse was restricted to a slow two rounds. Orakei three times round at good swinging canter.
