Noticeably amongst them are Harris’ Union, Flag, Clifford’s Crutchfield, Watts’s Fairchield, D. O’Brien’s Freedom, Florrie, Tassy, and Little Arthur, Stead’s Palliser, Carronade, Ranee, Nuna, and Clanronald, Rutherford’s Ahua and Ixion, Lunn’s Cajolery, Webb’s Ruby and Crown Jewel, Sherwin’s Dragon, Russell’s Red Cross and Bredalbane, Sheehan’s Erin-go-Bragh and Lady Sockburn, O’Connor’s Catamount, Butler’s Crackshot and Bay King, Harris’ Inez, and several others. The following are my selections for the different events: —
Hurdles. —Rutherford’s selected one. Champagne Stakes. —Florrie. Dunedin Cup.—Occident or Hilda. Publican’s Handicap.—Cissy or Ruby. Steward’s Handicap.—Bay King. Maiden Plate. —Palliser. Selling Two-Year-Old Race.—Cajolery. ' ’Railway Plate.—Florrie. Marshall Memorial Stakes.—Cissy or Wolverine.
