June ’ Daaee. The second of Aliss E. Robertson’s Cinderella dances was held on Friday night in the Oddfellows’ Hall. In spite of a wet night, everything went with a merry swing from start to finish, and a very jolly evening was spent by all. Present were: Mesdames Robertson, Hoekley, Fitzherbert, Thompson, Alissei Keeling, Baker, AlcGregor, Russell, Irvine (2), *Borrit, Cowper, Herbert, Dodds, Knight, AlcGiblxm. Tiferman, Messrs. Hockley, Thompson. Harker (2), MeCrae, Wells, Varnham, Ryan, (2), Wilson, Webber, Russell (2), Edwards. Personal. Miss Katie Buckhuret, who lias bee® teaching singing and music in Danne-
vlrke for about two years, left for her home iu Christchurch on Friday. Miss Patterson is spending a short holiday in Wanganui. Miss Caulton has* returned from a visit to Napier. Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Irwin left on Tuesday on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. Paul Hockley returned from a short visit to Wellington on Thursday. Miss Tansley (Taihape) is on a short visit to her parents. Mrs. Tomlinson, who Jias been spending a few weeks in Napier, returned home on Friday.
