October 5. Theatre Party. A number of Feilding people journeyed to Palmerston North to see “Sinbad the Sailor.” A special train was put on for the convenience of local patrons. Among those J noticed were: Mrs A. Fitzherbert, Miss Fitzherbert, Mr and Mrs Bull, Mr and Mrs H. Stewart, Mr and Airs Allies, Mrs Gillespie, Airs Owen, Mrs Plack, Mrs Sherwell, Dr and Aliss Livesey, Mrs and Miss Alillar, Mrs Giescn, Airs Elliott, Aliss Alowlem, Aliss Innes-Jones, Air and Airs Roberts, Air and Airs R. Levin, Airs AlcAllum, Air and Aliss Gorton. Bridge Party. On Wednesday last Airs. Gillespie gave a pleasant little party at the charming residence on the Hill. Bridge was played in the drawing room, which was prettily arranged with magnolias, yellow iris, and primroses. A delicious afternoon tea was handed round. The hostess looked very dainty in a rose-coloured silk frock, with touches of black velvet. Airs. Aliles won the prize. Others present were: Airs. D. Hall, Airs. Halladay, Airs. Innes-Jones, Airs Wheeler, Aliss Stuckey (England), Aliss Spain, Allis. Atkinson, Airs. Leslie Gorton, Airs. AlePherson, Airs. Horrocks. Personal. Airs. Norman Gorton is staying with friends in AVellington. Airs. Stewart, who has been staying in AA’ellington, has returned. Airs. Pascal, Palmerston North, is the guest of Airs AlcLennan. Airs, and Aliss Parton, of Auckland, are the guests of Airs. E. Barton.

Aliss Stuckey (England), is the guest of Mrs. Atkinson, West Street. Mrs. Peat, who has been staying in Palmerston, has returned to Feilding. Mrs. Godfrey (Pahiatua), who has been the guest of Mrs. Innes-Jones, has returned to her home.
