October 5. Air. and Airs. W. G. Stead, "Twyford,” are going to reside in Napier for a few months. Much sympathy is felt for Air Campbell, M.H.R., who is seriously ill. Aliss E. Baird has gone to Auckland for a few weeks’ holiday. Aliss Milne, who has been the guest of Airs F. Cameron returned to Alasterton this week. Air J. A. Aliller entertained the members of the Bowling Club at his residence yesterday afternoon. Airs Aliller, assisted by her sister (Aliss Peddie), provided delicious afternoon tea. Lord Islington will be the guest of Air J. H. Lowry, “Okawa,” during show week. The Hon. and Airs Fergus (Dunedin) have been the guests of Air and Airs Turnbull, “Kerereu.” Airs and Aliss Gibbons are the guests of Airs R. Haise.
