June 22. Golf. The club has been favoured with fine club days, ami quite a number of players enjoyed the outing. Amongst them were Mesdames lladdeley. laiwtord, ILawson, Nynmnd, McDowell, Ward, tßoake, McFarland (Napier), Misses R'ansley. Wiltshire, Liwford, lla-rtgill, BucWiur-t, Barker, Riley, Herbert, G. Irvine and (Mac Gibbon. Peraaaal. Mrs. Is. Nair, lrvine, and Mrs. Maaoa were hostesses at small evenings *hi» WMk.
Mrs. and Miss Potts left on Thursday for Tauranga, where they intend to reside.
Mrs. H. Giesen left on Thursday with her two small daughters for Wellington. Air. and Mrs. MeFarland (Napier) are in Dannevirke for a few days.
(Miss D. Knight, who has been spending a week in Feilding, returned on Monday.
'Mrs. Reid Mackay, who has been in Sydney for about two months on a delightful visit, returned home on Wednesday.
Mrs. and Miss Pettit have rea-ched A\ ellington on their homeward journey. They also have been enjoying a holidayin Sydney.
