August 24. Bridge Party. Mrs. Corfe gave a very enjoyable bridge afternoon on Thursday. There Were four tables, and the room was nicely decorated with spring flowers. Mrs. Corfe received her guests in a White frock. Some of the guests were: Mesdames Willis, Gillespie, Roberts, Haliday, MoAllum, Long, Montgomerie, Atkinson, Evans, Barton, Misses Livesay (Marton), Spain (2), Bishop (Dunedin). Miss Bishop won the prize. Personal. Miss Livesay (Marton) is the guest of her brother, Dr. Livesay.

Mrs. WooHamn has returned from Wellington. Miss Jackson (New Plymouth) is the guest of Miss Spain. Mrs. A. F. Fitzherbert ami her daughter have returned from Willington. TUT.
