ARLIDGE—BEERE.

A quiet wedding took place at HolyTrinity Church, Gisborne, on May 10th, when Miss Nony Beere, daughter of Mr. G. A. Beere, of “Erina,” Gisborne, was married to Mr. C. D. Arlidge, of Gisborne ( formerly of Dunedin). The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a cream serge costume, very prettilybraided, and a toque en suite. She was attended by her sister (Miss Lillie Beere) as chief bridesmaid, and Miss Greer. Mr. G. IV. Arlidge, of Masterton (brother of the bridegroom) acted as best man, and Mr. A. E. Morris as groomsman. The Rev. L. Dawson Thomas officiated, the Rev. IV. H. Roberts assisting. Mr. E. N. Sidebottom presided at the organ, there being a full choral service. Later in the day Mr. and Mrs. Arlidge left for Dunedin, where the honeymoon will be spent.
