December 14. At the Theatre. The Plimmer-Denniston Company have been play ing to packed houses this week, giving us “Lover’s Lane,” “The Second Mrs. Tanqueray,” and “The Passing of the Third Floor Back.” Amongst the audiences were;—Mns F. Personal. Mr. Field, who went to England with Mr. W. D. Lysnar, returned to Gisborne last Saturday. Miss Horner (Patea) is at present guest of Mrs. L. T. Symes, Gisbq,me. The Misses Barker (3) returned from Auckland on Sunday last.
Mr. and Mrs. G. Barton returned on Sunday from their wedding trip spent in Auckland and Rotorua.
