July 8. A Dance. Last Thursday evening Mrs J. BellThomson gave a most enjoyable dance in the Brougham-street Hall, at which her youngest daughter made her debut iu society. The supper table was beautifully decorated with silver vases, massed with spring flowers and pale pink camellias, the handiwork of which was due to Mrs Carrie Bayly. Mr W. Wood’s orchestra rendered excellent music. Amongst those present were: Mrs J. B. Jack Harvey gave a most enjoyable euchre party at her residence last Thursday. Mrs. Harvey received her guests in a cream striped voile gown trimmed with rich silk insertion. The prizes were won by Miss D. Bedford first, Mies Nora Hanna, booby; Mr. Johns, first; Mr. Walter Weston, booby. After supper there was a guessing competition, Miss Standish and Mr. W. Nicoll tvinning the prizes. Amongst those present were: Miss R. Crawford, Miss A. Crawford, Miss Capel, Miss Taylor, Mrs Johns, Mrs. Walker, Miss Standieh, Mies LA. Avery, Miss N. Hanna, Miss D.
