HAWERA, March 24. Personal. Mrs Buckley (India) and her son have arrived in Hawera on a long visit to relatives. Mr C. Goodson, who went to Melbourne to meet his sister, has also returned. Miss Hull, who has been the guest of Air and Mrs Bell, has returned to Auckland. Miss Newland has returned from a month's holiday, spent in Napier. Mr and Mrs A. Gillies have gone to New Plymouth for Easter. Mr Gillies is competing in the Taranaki golf tournament, also Messis Turton, O’Callaghan and Ryan. Mr and Mrs 11. Cook left this week on a trip to England. Mr and Mrs Webster also left this week on a year’s visit to the Old Country. Miss Koch (Auckland), who has been for a few weeks’ visit, accompanied her sister to Wellington. Mr Finch (Wellington) is relieving Mr Webster temporarily as manager of the Bank of New .South Wales. Messrs N. Caiplen and I{. Sellar have gone to Wanganui to compete in the tennis tournament.
