SEDDON.
March 24. Presentation. On Tuesday evening a number of the public works officials assembled to make a presentation to Mr. Bogel, of the local office, who has been transferred to Stratford. Mr. Sharp, on behalf of the staff, presented the guest of the evening with a very nice travelling bag and volume of rules. Mr. Marks. Stratford, will take Mr. Bogel's place. Personal. Mr. S. X. Gunn has been for a short visit to Christchurch. Mrs. T. Hall, who has been spending some weeks in Seddon, returned to Blenheim last evening. Mr. Bernard Ward has been paying some farewell visits in the district prior to his departure for England. Mr. Bursill has returned from the South after a lengthy stay. Miss Condon left on Tuesday for Wellington, where she will join the Sydney boat. Mr. and Mrs. Sharp. Blind River, are leaving shortly for a few days holiday in Pelorus Sound. Mrs. Kenneth Mowat. Blenheim, who has been paying a short visit to Dumgrec. returned home yesterday. Mr. Humphreys is visiting Nelson at present, where his father is dangerously ill. Mr. and Mrs. W. Andrews leave this week for Christchurch, where they will spend Easter.
