Wanganui
At a conference last week between the representatives of the Wanganui and Wanganui East Borough Councils, a basis of agreement was arrived at for submission to the ratepayers in the respective areas in connection with the proposed erection of a second bridge across the river and the extension of the tramway service over the river.
