Dear Bee, » May 17. There i- very little to tell you about this week. On Friday evening last Mrs. Locking gave A VERY JOLLA" LITTLE BRIDGE EVENING, when everybody present seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Mrs. Locking wore a brown voile dress, with trimmings of blue: Miss Muriel Locking, dainty pale green glace silk frock, bodice prettily gathered and trimmed with laee on skirt; Mrs. Dr. Edgar wore a handsome black silk taffeta dress, bodice daintily trimmed with cream Maltese lace and pink roses: Mrs. Dr. Moore also wore a dainty black silk dress, with black lace on bodice; Mrs. Levin, pretty flame-coloured dress, with lace and flowers; Mrs. Tomlinson. lovely pale heliotrope chiffon and silk dress, t rimmed with masses of rucked chiffon and lace : Miss McLernon.blaek silk taffeta dress, bodice trimmed with pale blue trimming and lace; Miss Humphries, lovely pale blue glace, covered with lace ; Miss D. Kennedy, black satin dress, bodice with deep lace; Miss Ncvill also wore black, with Idaek lace on bodiee and deep yellow scarf; Miss Josephs, pretty wide figured silk frock; Miss Margwlioutlt. dainty white soft satin dress; Miss Hill, handsome blaek satin, bodiee much trimmed with white Valenciennes lace,; Miss Snodgrass, dainty pale green crepe de chine dress: Mrs. Westell, white figured silk dress, bodice trimmed with lace and flowers.
