TARANAKI PROVINCE.

Mr. D. Mae Diarmid is at present visiting his parents in New Plymouth. Miss M. W’jJson, Naseby, Otago, is on a visit to Mrs. Kerr, New Plymouth. Mr. T. V. Mackay, of the Napier Survey Office, is on a visit to New Plymouth.

Air. and Mrs. C. S. Curtis, of Stratford, have left en route for England. Mrs. Ward and Mrs. Duncan, Palmerston North, are the guests of their sister, Mrs. Kyngdon, New Plymouth. Miss Nolan, who has been visiting Mrs. Capel, of New Plymouth, has returned to Auckland.

The Rev. 11. A. G. Keek, of Victoria, has succeeded the Rev. R. F. Williams at the Whiteley Church, New Plymouth. Mr. N. T. Balharry, of the Bank of Australasia, Wellington, is resigning from the bank's service, and joins the staff of Messrs. Wilson and Nolan, New Plymouth, as accountant. Mrs. Percy Webster, who has been visiting her relatives in Christchurch and Wellington, has returned to her home in New Plymouth.

Mr. E. R. Beane, of the Stratford Post Office staff', has received notice of his transfer to Collingwood, where he will bo postmaster.
